Meghalaya PSC Recruitment 2024

The Meghalaya Public Service Commission (Meghalaya PSC) is accepting applications for the following positions:

1. Lower Division Assistant (LDA) and Assistant Inspector of Excise

  • Total Vacancies: 79
    • Lower Division Assistant: 60 posts.
    • Assistant Inspector of Excise: 19 posts.
  • Eligibility:
    • Qualification: Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC).
    • Age: 18-32 years.
  • Pay Scale:
    • LDA: Pay Level 6.
    • Assistant Inspector of Excise: Pay Level 5.
  • Selection Process:
    • Written test (300 marks) followed by an interview.
  • Application Fee: No fee.
  • Last Date to Apply: 20th December 2024.
  • How to Apply:
    • Submit an online application via the Meghalaya PSC website.
    • Include scanned copies of the required documents, including photo and signature.

2. Stenographer

  • Total Vacancies: 21
  • Eligibility:
    • Qualification: Graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce with shorthand speed of 80 WPM.
    • Age: 18-32 years.
  • Pay Scale: Pay Level 8.
  • Selection Process:
    • Stenography Test (qualifying).
    • Written Test (duration: 1 hour).
  • Application Fee:
    • SC/ST candidates of Meghalaya: ₹175.
    • Other candidates: ₹350.
    • Payment: Online via debit/credit card or net banking.
