 Walk-in-Interview for Junior Research Fellowship at NSTL

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), under the Ministry of Defence, is inviting applications for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) at the Naval Science & Technological Laboratory (NSTL) in Visakhapatnam. These fellowships are offered for a period of two years (extendable) with a stipend of ₹37,000 per month along with House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per rules.

Fellowship Details:

1. Mechanical Engineering (JRF)
   Qualification:

   • B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) with a valid NET/GATE score (First Division)
   • Or M.E./M.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) with First Division at both Graduate and Post Graduate levels.

2. Electronics (JRF)
   Qualification:

   • B.E./B.Tech (Electronics) with a valid NET/GATE score (First Division)
   • Or M.E./M.Tech (Electronics) with First Division at both Graduate and Post Graduate levels.

3. Naval Architecture (JRF)
   Qualification:

   • B.E./B.Tech (Naval Architecture) with a valid NET/GATE score (First Division)
   • Or M.E./M.Tech (Naval Architecture) with First Division at both Graduate and Post Graduate levels.

4. Aerospace/CFD (JRF)
   Qualification:

   • B.E./B.Tech (Aerospace/Aeronautical) with a valid NET/GATE score (First Division)
   • Or M.E./M.Tech (Aerospace/Propulsion/CFD) with First Division at both Graduate and Post Graduate levels.

5. Computer Science (JRF)
   Qualification:

   • B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science/IT) with a valid NET/GATE score (First Division)
   • Or M.E./M.Tech (Computer Science/IT) with First Division at both Graduate and Post Graduate levels.

Important Information:

• Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on the date of the Walk-in-interview. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per government rules.
• Selection Process: Candidates will first appear for a written test (if required), followed by an interview.
• No TA/DA: Candidates will not be paid travel or daily allowance for attending the interview.
• Application Fee: ₹10/- (Exempted for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
